This list could easily be 100 things long, but I could only fit too many of them here- so some of my top 6 tips that will help.


1) The single most important rule: To lose weight, you must be in a caloric deficit. You can drink all of the world's comfortable tea and wear a slimmer waist 24/7 but they won't do anything for you. Caloric. Caloric. Deficiency. Ever.

2) Food is never out of reach. You can eat cookies or ice cream or cake AND lose weight. As long as you eat mostly healthy and your calories are under the balance, you will never be distracted by any single meal. You don't have to be sad, or miserable.

3) The answer to the "how much fat should I eat" question is impossible for anybody to answer for you. We may use guidelines but these exact numbers are different. Figure out what suits you best.

4) He's not going to be fine every day. And this is all right- they don't have to be. You can always get on the track again.

5) No fake meal timing tricks. For people, intermittent fasting works as it helps them keep their calories down. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what timing you eat.

6) Don't chase results quickly. Trying to crash the diet and dropping your calories down an incredible amount will not only make you feel bad, but it will also make the weight loss journey even harder. Take it slow I promise it's going to be worth it.

7) You don't have to do any extra exercise to lose weight. Cardio can help you achieve a deficit, but if you hate it you don't have to spend hours on the treadmill as long as your calories are in check. Credit: cheatdaydesign
