So you want to lose weight but don't know how many meals you're supposed to consume to optimize your fat loss? Well my friend, let me help you.

Maybe you've learned about the impressive results that people get from intermittent fasting and eating only once a day. Or maybe you've heard that you should eat lots of small meals all day long to keep your metabolism working to burn as many calories as you can.

How do these two radically distinct definitions work? Since everybody has different tastes, and there is zero impact of meal frequency on fat loss.


If you love eating snacks all day, break up your day into 10 meals (or snacks, at that point) by all means. If you're not really getting hungry all day and would rather enjoy an epic 1800 calorie meal at the end of the day, that way you can lose weight.

Meal size alone won't impact your fat loss. Everything you need to think about is how many calories you consume. If you know that to lose weight you need to eat 1800 calories (just an example for maths), so it doesn't matter if you split those calories up in your day.
