Do you not just love it when the "research" agrees with what you have said all along? I certainly do.
Do you not just love it when the "research" agrees with what you have said all along? I certainly do. If anyone reads any of my reporting, you know I've been saying that the quality of the fuel you put in your body is by far the most important health and weight loss factor for a very long time. Junk food is precisely that-junk food! You should not be placing sugar or water in your car's gas tank. Yet so many people are bringing the difference into their bodies and hoping to be balanced or lose weight.
New research carried out to study the efficacy of low-carb and low-fat diets has been found to depend on the quality of the foods eaten. Although I'm certainly moving towards a lower-carb eating style, this study contrasted low-carb and high-carb diets of 37,000 adults over 20 years old. We didn't notice any major variations when measuring them in terms of durability-until we measured the consistency of the carbohydrates.
What has made a big difference in mortality rates is consistency?
Those who followed low-carb or low-fat diets but consumed low-quality food reportedly suffered higher premature death rates. This is common sense and a no-brainer! These studies suggest that any increased longevity benefits arising from either low-carbohydrate or low-fat diets may depend on macronutrient quality and food sources.

And every food plan or diet you want to follow must clearly identify the nature and source of the macronutrients. I said it before-you maybe a vegan who thinks it's healthier, but if you eat all the organic foods and the grains you 're going to do harm, not well. You won't help yourself if you follow a ketogenic diet but consume conventionally raised animal products and foods containing unhealthy fats.
Nutrition depends on nutrients. The objective should be to select the highest quality of food that provides the essential nutrients required and recognizes. That is exactly why a lot of obese people are reportedly undernourished! They fill their bellies but on the cellular level, they hunger for essential nutrients.
It all goes back to what I recommend all the time-make your choices from the highest quality, organic, one-ingredient foods that are in accordance with your unique makeup and you can't help but enjoy greater health and well-being.
Do you feel shocked to know that food quality is the most important piece of the weight-loss puzzle?
