5 Terrible Health Related Errors People Must Avoid

Unfortunately, none of us are flawless and we all make mistakes from time to time, but do you realize that right now you might unknowingly endanger your health? Have a look at five of the worst health habits you are making right now, from listening to music too loudly to slouching at your office.

1. Not drinking much water

Do you know that thirst can be a sign of dehydration? Two-thirds of our bodies are made up of water, so it's no surprise that we need to drink plenty of fluid in order to maintain these levels. Of course, getting a little hungry every once and a while isn't necessarily a cause for concern, but ensuring that your body has enough fluids is crucial to keep up your strength, healthy organs, helping to detoxify the body and boost digestion. Water is also essential to preserving clean and healthy skin.

Keep a record of the fluid you 're drinking so you can see how much water you 're consuming. So keep a bottle of water in your bag and on your desk to ensure you drink enough from it. Most advice suggests you should drink eight glasses of water a day, but depending on how much exercise you do and the environment that amount can differ from person to person.

2.Poor posture of all-day seated

Especially Office staff, listen up. Bad posture due to sitting all day at your desk can cause problems with the back and spine, headaches, poor circulation, and decreased lung function. A number of clinical studies have found that extended sitting periods can also put you at risk of developing conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, even though you are physically active elsewhere.

To sit at your desk in the appropriate way, move your legs back into the chair so far as they can go, make sure that your feet are flat on the floor, and that your eyes are aligned with the top of the monitor. While at first, this position will seem uncomfortable, your body will soon get used to it and, in the long run, your body will be grateful for it. Try also to move around frequently throughout the day, as even the smallest regularly repeated activities can offset some of the health problems that sitting causes. And when you're out of the office make an effort to do regular exercise and be as active as possible.

3.Listening to Music Loudly

On your drive, at the gym or when you're at work, you might listen to music but do you ever care about the volume you're listening to your favorite tunes? When you constantly expose yourself to music that's too loud then it may cause your hearing to experience permanent harm. They will not immediately feel the consequences of this safety error, because the hearing issues that result from listening to loud music grow over time. The damage can cause permanent effects such as tinnitus (ringing) and hear with muffles.

Research by the World Health Organization (WHO) found that people use personal audio devices at an average of 94 decibels (to put it in perspective, a regular conversation is normally about 60 decibels.) Invest in some noise-canceling headphones to give yourself the best chance of protecting your ears. It can block the background noise that most people are attempting to drown out by that a regular collection of headphones volume. Sometimes, if you listen to music give your ears daily 20-minute breaks to allow them time to recover.

4.Snap The Snooze Button

The snooze button is the best friend of many people in the morning and some don't even think about getting out of bed until they press it a few times, but it might be bad news for your sleeping routine as good as a few stolen minutes could sound at the time. At first, when your alarm goes off, your body prepares to get up but when you hit the snooze button it can confuse your brain and leave you feeling groggy and tired than when your alarm went off first.

The easiest thing to do is set up an alarm that goes off every day at the same time and gets up when it goes off. No more snooze hits! After so long, your body is used to the routine of waking up every day at the same time and gradually your body will even wake up automatically at that moment, without an alarm.

5. You brush your teeth right after eating

You think that brushing your teeth after eating is generally the best thing to do, but it can be harmful to your skin. Immediately after consuming something acidic or sugary like fruit and juices, brushing will result in damaged enamel of the tooth. This causes the pH levels in your mouth to drop below average if you eat something acidic and as a result, your tooth enamel softens and becomes vulnerable to it. And if after eating acidic food you brush your teeth, you run the risk of losing the hardened enamel.

Clean your teeth, then, before eating something acidic. Right after eating these foods, you can rinse your mouth with water but avoid going in with the brush until you have consumed the acidic food for at least 40 minutes, as it takes this long for pH levels to return to normal.
